As a volunteer with ASTOP, you will learn about marine turtle conservation and participate in patrols that save these endangered species. Your Economic Contribution
As a volunteer, you contribute to the economic sustainability of our project, our community, and Costa Rica. A typical 5-day volunteer commitment has an economic value of $290 USD.
ASTOP: $55 to support administration
Research Assistants: $20/day for five days contributes $100 to support research assistants. Contribute $15/day for every additional day you volunteer after the first five days.
Homestay: $27/day for five days contributes $135 for a family that provides you with accommodation and meals.
